Cuba was evacuated to San Antonio during Hurricane Gustav and remained in shelter care for months, waiting for an owner who never came back to reclaim her. Now, the loyal mutt needs a second chance at being a pet.
Volunteers think Cuba will do best as an “only dog.” To adopt her, send an e-mail to rescue@gvtc.com or call (210) 378-9036. To help with the cost of her heartworm treatments, recently completed, send donations to Animal Rescue Connections, P.O. Box 239, Bulverde, TX 78163.
